Memryze is operated by AixceLabs ("AixceLabs", "we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use the Memryze mobile application and related services.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party ad SDKs or cross-app tracking in the current product version.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide app functionality, including note creation, organization, search, and reminders.
- Process AI queries you explicitly submit and return relevant summaries from your notes.
- Maintain platform security, prevent abuse, and enforce legal terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve support requests.
4. AI Processing and Model Providers
When you use the AI Query feature, we send the minimum required note content and your prompt to an AI provider for response generation. Today this may include Anthropic Claude. In the future, we may use equivalent providers to operate the same feature.
- Transmission is encrypted in transit using TLS.
- AI providers act as processors for service delivery under contractual terms.
- We configure providers not to use your API data for model training where supported by contract and provider controls.
- AI responses may contain mistakes; users should verify important outputs before acting.
5. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
- Notes are stored in cloud infrastructure allocated for app operations.
- Deleted notes may be recoverable for up to 30 days, then permanently deleted.
- AI query cache entries are retained for up to 1 hour for performance and cost control.
- Push notification tokens are deleted after account deletion or sign-out events where technically available.

6. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
- Contract: to provide core app services requested by you.
- Legitimate interests: service security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting.
- Consent: where required for specific communications or optional processing.
- Legal obligations: compliance with applicable law and lawful requests.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your data. You may submit requests by emailing privacy@aixcelabs.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of data. No method of storage or transmission is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Memryze is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). If we learn we collected data from a child in violation of law, we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted in-app or on our website with an updated effective date.
